All PEYTON mattresses feature the 1400 count nested & pocketed, pocket spring units; the same one previously used in our top of the range model. PEYTON mattresses further benefit from 8 individual upholstery layers initiated by two, super-supple Spring-Flex™ insulator pads; these directly overlay the central spring unit. Next, 4 deep layers of American white cotton felt provide the main structure and form the PEYTON’s ‘comfort advantage’ over many of today’s lesser products. Finally, it has two white fibre topper pads sitting directly below the ticking fabric cover.
PEYTON mattresses, upholstered in Herringbone cotton ticking, feature two rows of genuine hand side stitching. Handmade flag stitched handles and brass air vents finish the mattress borders. Taped tufts & high-grade daisy felt washers ensure the fillings layers remain evenly distributed for lasting support and extreme comfort.
PEYTON mattresses are available in either a softer 1.3mm (18½g) spring wire, or firmer 1.5 mm (17½g) spring wire.
